Jenny's OT story

Hello my name is Jenny. I’m an Occupational Therapist working in the community and nursing team in South East Norfolk.

On a recent routine new patient visit I discovered that an elderly couple were living in an out-building without hot water, a toilet or heating.  They had been living like this for years but it was the first time services had been out to see them. I worked with the local district council, housing standards and social care to help the couple address this situation urgently.
