100 years of LD Nursing

This year marked the 100th anniversary of Learning Disability Nursing. We held a special lunch for all our LD Nurses to say thank you for the unique contribution that this speciality makes to the field of nursing and the wider community.

Our CEO, Josie Spencer, who presented our LD Nurses with certificates of thanks, said: “It was an honour to be able to say thank you to this team of nurses. They play such a key role in so many people’s lives, directly supporting people with learning disabilities and their families.”
