Bike Week
NCH&C staff had the opportunity to try out e-bikes at Norwich Community Hospital this week. Norfolk County Council joined us to share information about Beryl Bikes and other sustainable travel options available across Norfolk. A big thank you to Norfolk Electric Adventure for also helping us explore greener ways to travel.
Through the Government’s Green Transport Plan, NCH&C staff can take advantage of a TAX-FREE bicycle. This is part of the strategy to promote a healthier lifestyle, reduce congestion and also reduce environmental pollution.
To facilitate this, the government has allowed bicycles to be loaned to employees tax free as part of their employment package.
