Take a Moment to find out 'What's the deal with apprenticeships'
Have a listen to the latest episode of NCH&C’s podcast, released for National Apprenticeship Week. In this episode Harri Smithson, Career Development Facilitator in the NCH&C Talent for Care Team, talks about the various options for career progression in healthcare, including apprenticeships, and the doors they and other courses can open up for you in your career.
You can also listen here to Learning Disabilities Nursing Degree Apprentice Rob Blowers discussing his apprenticeship journey.
Apprenticeships allow you to combine work and study by mixing new training with classroom/tutor learning. Completing an apprenticeship gives you the chance to gain the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in your job role and possibly to progress onto further roles or qualifications. We know that there is a lot of misconception about apprenticeships and lots of things you might not know about these qualifications.
To help, we’ve compiled a handy page called “What’s the deal with apprenticeships?“ which hopefully answers the questions we get asked a lot about apprenticeships.
We also have loads of stories from past and present NCH&C apprentices on the “Our apprenticeship journey” page to help inspire you to starting your apprenticeship journey.
