We share some highlights of how our staff like to look after their wellbeing outside of work.

At NCH&C our leaders are fundamental to creating positive and healthy working environments for our diverse NHS people. They have responsibilities to support their own wellbeing and the wellbeing of their colleagues. To do this, we need to support them to develop healthy behaviours as these can directly influence the people around them. By being aware of what good behaviours look like and endeavouring to embody them, our leaders can positively impact the health and wellbeing of our teams. It is important they are equipped with the right skills and capabilities to build and sustain cultures of health and wellbeing for themselves and those around them.

Over the past few months, all our leaders have attended a one day workshop to enable them to develop the skills, knowledge and confidence to create and maintain a culture of wellbeing within our teams and our trust.

Following the successful completion of these workshops, we’re sharing some highlights of how our staff like to look after their wellbeing outside of work. A huge thank you to Strategic Finance manager Alan Dawson, Tissue Viability Development Nurse Donna Todd, Governance and Compliance Support Kate Robinson, Out of Hours Community Staff Nurse Moses Tinuoye and North Team Manager David Leaper for sharing their Health and Wellbeing tips with us.
