Norwich Community Hospital

Norwich Community Hospital

Norwich Community Hospital is NCH&C’s largest site and can be found on Bowthorpe Road, off Dereham Road in the centre of Norwich.

The site brings together a diverse mix of our wide range of expert staff, including nurses, therapists and support staff, as they deliver a vast range of clinical services to local patients.

The hospital’s inpatient wards are housed within the modern Mulberry Unit. Here, expert staff on Beech Ward offer specialist stroke rehabilitation to patients, while colleagues on the Alder Ward offer general rehabilitation to their patients. The Mulberry Unit also boasts a therapy gym for patients to use as part of their care.

Norwich Community Hospital has three entrances (A, B and C). Parking for the public is accessed via entrance A.

The car park is fairly large but can get busy at peak times and all visitors to the site must pay to park. There are spaces for those with disabilities.

A camera will log your vehicle registration number plate as you enter the car park. There are several pay and display meters in the car park and they only accept the correct money. You will also need to know your car registration when you buy your parking ticket. Please be extremely careful when entering your registration details because if you enter the wrong details you may get a parking fine.

If you’re dropping someone off at the site and will be no longer than 15 minutes, please use Entrance B. You can park in the spaces on the left as you come into this entrance for 15 minutes. Please do not be any longer than this. A camera is situated at the entrance and logs your vehicle registration as you enter. Do not park in the spaces in the car park to your right as you come into the site at this entrance. These are reserved spaces.
