Norfolk Community Health and Care NHS Trust announces new joint CEO
Norfolk Community Health and Care NHS Trust (NCH&C) and Cambridgeshire Community Services NHS Trust (CCS) are pleased to announce that Matthew Winn will serve as Chief Executive across both organisations for twelve months from 1 November 2023.
Matthew has been Chief Executive at CCS since 2007 and has been NHS England’s Director of Community Health from 2019 to 2023.
As an experienced community services CEO, Matthew will lead both organisations in the delivery of high quality, coordinated care for adults and children, supporting increasing numbers of people to live healthier lives at home, or as close to home as possible.
Matthew oversees a broad portfolio across the region, including services in the Norfolk area, making a joint appointment a sensible interim arrangement for both organisations and the population they serve.
Chair of NCH&C, Lynda Thomas CBE, said: “NCH&C is really pleased to have secured the appointment of Matthew Winn as joint interim CEO. Matthew will be a huge asset to NCH&C, the wider Norfolk and Waveney health and care system, and most importantly to the communities we serve.
“In addition to continuing to support the trust to deliver the best possible patient experience and outcomes, we believe he will embody the culture and the values that sit at the heart of NCH&C.”
