Celebrating International Nurses' Day at NCH&C

Wednesday 12 May 2021 is International Nurses’ Day: an opportunity to celebrate the outstanding contribution that nurses make to our healthcare systems and communities.

The last year has been particularly gruelling for healthcare professionals across the trust and around the world, so it is more important than ever to mark this day by giving thanks to our nurses, and reflecting on their stories and experiences.

As part of our International Nurses’ Day celebrations, we’re sharing the career stories of some of the wonderful nurses that work within the trust. We hope this will not only highlight the dedication and compassion shown by our nursing staff everyday, but also inspire those thinking of pursuing a career in nursing.
