Wymondham Health Centre has been given a makeover thanks to a generous donation from a local former patient

The donation was kindly left within a legacy to Norfolk Community Health & Care NHS Trust’s Charitable Fund. The fund uses donations to provide equipment and services that are above and beyond those funded by the NHS and make a genuine difference to patients.

NCH&C is commissioning an artist to create outdoor artwork to mark the celebration of NHS75

We’re looking for bold, engaging, and colourful designs that sum up the pride and gratitude we have for the NHS in the form of a mural. They will be used to decorate areas at a number of our community sites this year to mark 75 amazing years of the National Health Service.

Take a Moment to talk about end of life and palliative care at NCH&C

For over 40 years, NCH&C staff have provided specialist palliative and end-of-life care for patients in Norfolk at Priscilla Bacon Lodge (PBL) at The Colman Hospital. As the team prepares to move to a brand new purpose built hospice, Charlotte Shaw, Quality Matron at PBL, talks about the importance of having a good death.

Mulberry Garden opens to benefit patients at Norfolk Community Hospital

On Tuesday 9 May, the long-awaited Mulberry Garden at Norwich Community Hospital (NCH) was officially opened by the trust chair, Lynda Thomas. Patients and staff from Alder and Beech wards at NCH enjoyed a ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark the official opening, as well as cake in the new garden.

Around 15% of the UK population is thought to have a neurodiversity so it's essential that we all look at the way our workplaces are set up. Dr Stephanie Summers, Clinical Psychologist and Clinical Lead for our Neurodevelopmental Service, talks about what NCH&C is doing and offers advice on how others can be more neuro-inclusive.
